UNP reforms committee to convene today


The committee appointed to propose reforms in the United National Party will convene for the first time today.

The committee will convene under the leadership of Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe.

Deputy Minister of Home Affairs JC Alawathuwala said the group will discuss the new appointments of the UNP due to be made before the 30th of April.

The Deputy Minister also said the committee will discuss the future course of measures over MPs of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party who voted in favour of the No-Confidence Motion filed against Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe.
